At Frontier, generosity isn’t fundraising but formation.
We give because we follow a generous God.
Financial giving is one of the ways we practice trust, resist the pull of consumer culture, and invest in something that will outlive us.
If you’d like, use the Generosity Liturgy below as a prayer as you give.
GENEROSITY LITURGY
Holy Father,
There is nothing I have that You have not given me.
All I have and all I am belong to You, bought with the blood of Jesus.
To spend everything on myself, and to give without sacrifice, is the way of the world.
But generosity is the way of those who call Christ their Lord.
Form my heart to love what You love.
Free me from the delusion of riches that chokes the word.
Anchor my heart in Your kingdom, not in the systems of this world.
Make me trustworthy with little things,
that You may entrust me with true riches.
Let it be said among us that there is no needy person.
Let generosity mark our church.
Above all, make me generous because You are generous.
It is the delight of Your sons and daughters to reflect their Father.
