THE FRONTIER RULE OF LIFE
A shared way of life for following Jesus—together
Following Jesus isn’t just about what we believe—it’s about how we live.
For centuries, Christians have used a Rule of Life to intentionally order their days around prayer, community, rest, and mission.
At Frontier, our Rule of Life is a shared framework that helps us be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and live the way Jesus lived—right where we are.
“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4
WHAT IS A RULE OF LIFE?
A Rule of Life is a simple set of rhythms and practices that create space for God in our everyday lives.
It’s not a checklist or a rigid schedule. It’s more like a trellis—supporting growth rather than forcing it.
A good rule brings clarity, freedom, and formation over time.
The goal isn’t to do everything—it’s to live intentionally.
WHY THIS MATTERS RIGHT NOW
We live in a culture shaped by hurry, distraction, and constant noise. Formation is always happening—whether we choose it or not.
As a church, we’re choosing to be formed intentionally.
This season—From Reset to Rhythm—is an invitation to begin practicing a shared way of life as we enter a new year and prepare to step into a new home together.
A RULE OF LIFE FOR THE MODERN ERA // The Frontier Vision
In a fragmented, hurried, and distracted world, we believe Jesus is forming a people whose lives tell a different story.
A community of prayerful presence
In a culture of noise, outrage, and distraction.
Through the practices of prayer and silence.
A community of formed desires
In a culture of consumption and endless appetite.
Through the practices of fasting and simplicity.
A community of deep belonging
In a culture of individualism and loneliness.
Through the practice of shared life and community.
A community of rest and trust
In a culture of hurry, anxiety, and exhaustion.
Through the practice of Sabbath.
