THE NEST FINANCIAL UPDATE
One year of investment. Years of ministry impact.
OUR VISION FOR THE NEST
The campus increasingly contributes to the mission it houses.
Through education, hospitality, events, and community partnerships, we're working toward a future where The Nest serves the city while increasingly helping sustain the mission it advances.
Where We Are Today
By God's grace, we've already seen tremendous generosity and meaningful progress throughout the campus.
As leadership prepared for the move into a permanent home, we established a Summer Goal of $150,000 in additional generosity beyond Frontier's normal operating giving to help bridge this season while new sources of sustainability develop through our school partnership, weddings and events, and the future Front Room Coffee.
We're deeply grateful for the generosity we've already seen.
At the same time, we have not yet reached that goal.
Today, we estimate that approximately $75,000 remains needed to help us successfully navigate the summer months and maintain healthy financial reserves.
Without reaching this goal, Frontier will likely exhaust a significant portion of its remaining reserves before several key sustainability initiatives are fully operational. Reaching this goal helps bridge us into the next season as our school partnership, weddings and events, and Front Room Coffee begin contributing to the long-term sustainability of the campus.
This Summer Goal is part of our larger $300,000 Nest Campaign Goal for 2026.
Summer Goal: $150,000
Raised So Far: $75,000
Remaining Need: $75,000
WHY THIS SEASON MATTERS
Moving into a permanent campus has allowed Frontier to expand ministry opportunities, create space for prayer and hospitality, and establish a long-term home in Pasadena.
As we prepared for this transition, leadership anticipated a season where church reserves and campaign generosity would help bridge the gap while several long-term sustainability initiatives developed.
Those initiatives are now actively underway, including:
• A school partnership
• Weddings and events
• Front Room Coffee
• Expanded ministry use of the campus
While significant progress has been made, those initiatives are still in development, creating a temporary gap that we are seeking to close this summer.
Stewardship So Far
One of the questions we hear most often is:
"What's already been accomplished?"
We're grateful to report that significant progress has already been made throughout the campus. Thanks to your generosity, countless volunteer hours, discounted labor, donated materials, and wise stewardship, we've been able to stretch every dollar much further than would normally be possible.
Completed & In Progress
✓ Auditorium upgrades and Sunday gathering improvements
✓ Children's ministry classrooms refreshed and prepared for weekly ministry
✓ Hospitality furniture, gathering spaces, and community environments
✓ Technology and media upgrades for worship, livestreaming, and communication
✓ Security improvements throughout the campus
✓ Initial courtyard improvements and beautification
✓ Event and wedding infrastructure development
✓ Facility repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and deferred upkeep projects
✓ Signage, accessibility, and campus navigation improvements
✓ Office, ministry, and volunteer workspaces
✓ Equipment, storage, and operational systems needed for a permanent campus
The Stewardship Story
What makes this especially encouraging is that the value created extends far beyond the dollars spent.
Contractors have discounted services. Members have donated materials. Volunteers have contributed hundreds of hours. Skilled professionals have offered expertise. As a result, we've been able to stretch every dollar significantly further.
The figures below are estimates based on volunteer labor, donated resources, discounted services, and comparable market costs.
In other words, through generosity, volunteer service, donated expertise, and strategic stewardship, Frontier has already created an estimated $248,000 of campus improvements and value while investing approximately $78,000 in direct costs.
We're deeply grateful to every person who has contributed financially, volunteered their time, donated resources, or shared their expertise to help make The Nest a reality.
THE PATH TO SUSTAINABILITY
The Nest is more than a Sunday gathering space.
Over the next 12–18 months, we're working toward a campus that increasingly contributes to the mission it houses through strategic partnerships, hospitality, events, and community engagement.
KEY INITIATIVES UNDERWAY
Christian School Partnership
