WHY SECULARISM?

The history of the church has faced difficult conversations around belief. Why now are we reimagining the historical positions of our faith? What is happening that has led to a seismic collapse in Western Christianity?

The answer is because we are the first followers of Jesus in a secular age, and hidden in our Christian stories is the presence of another kingdom. Like a ghost in the atmosphere, it has been shaping us, creating the allegiances we didn't know we were making. Our generation is in crisis because of the lies of secularism, and we must no longer hand them over.

WHY DISCIPLESHIP?

Who are you following? Everybody is following somebody. Put another way: We’re all disciples. The question isn’t, “Are you a disciple?” but, “Who or what are you a disciple of?” We are going to explore what it means to be a disciple or apprentice of Jesus.

Our focus is designed to get you started on the journey of spiritual formation, or help you get unstuck if you’ve stalled out, or just guide you into taking your next step. Discipleship takes constant intentionality + care. Ultimately, its goal is to train you to live as an apprentice of Jesus: to be with Jesus, become like him, and do as he did.

May this experience lay the foundation for a life of apprenticeship to Jesus that you can build on for decades to come.
